Dr. Shelley Onderdonk

Shelley Onderdonk has been practicing veterinary acupuncture since 1998. She is certified by IVAS and has studied at The Chi Institute. A graduate of Yale and the College of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Georgia, she became attracted to the study of acupuncture because of a life-long interest in Chinese philosophy. She, her husband and three sons live on their horse farm in Aiken, South Carolina. Two of their horses were featured in PBS Nature documentary, "Horse and Rider." Her veterinary creed is to do what most helps the patient, and considers her horses as among her greatest teachers.
